Are your setup services limited to just your themes?
No. We can do theme setups using any theme from Shopify's theme store. We have a great deal of experience with many of them, and can even suggest a theme for your business if you need some advice.
How long does the theme setup process usually take?
We typically quote around 3-5 weeks for a setup project to be safe, though this can fluctuate depending on a few factors, including our current project queue, the amount of time it takes customers to provide the content and direction we need, etc. If you have a specific timeframe or deadline, we'll certainly do our best to accommodate you.
What are the first steps?
Once the setup process begins, we send you a link to fill out a basic questionnaire to help us understand your business, design needs, and competition. We then request your logo and any additional graphical assets you have and provide you with a handy spreadsheet to help setup your navigation structure. From there, we get to work!
Can you help me with images and load times?
Yes! In fact, proper image optimization is a primary consideration when building a website to keep load times at a minimum. We will crop, resize, and optimize all the images you provide, and can even help you source stock photos if needed. We have a subscription to Envato Elements, so we can even license them for you.
Is code customization or product creation/migration included?
Our setup jobs are designed to keep primarily within the parameters of the theme, however, we do offer an hour of time you can use for phone training/consultation, product creation, or code customization. If you need additional time in any of these areas, we can provide a custom quote for your job. Please contact us for more details.
Can you help us migrate from another commerce platform?
Though we do offer help in these areas, it is outside the scope of a theme setup job. We recommend Cart2Cart for migration services. This type of work is all they do and are experts at it.
